So... what is this?
Why, it's KRDVDs.org, of course!

Well, yeah, I get that. But what is it?
It's your main destination for DVDs and videos of the Kenton Ridge High School Music Department.

So that means...
You know, the band and choir? I record videos of their performances and make DVDs for the parents and fans.

Wait, DVDs? Why do you need a website if you just make DVDs?
Well, I don't just make DVDs. Everything I record is done in high-definition, and since Blu-ray discs are not yet a practical medium for me to sell on, I decided to make this website so people can watch videos from the DVDs in high-definition. I also use the site to post pictures and keep people updated on what I'm doing.

Oh, cool. So I can watch everything you make here on the site without buying your DVDs?
Well... yes, but that's not the point.

What is the point?
Watching the band and choir is much more impressive on a TV than a computer screen.

What if someone has their computer hooked up to their TV screen?
What if I stop answering your questions and start asking them?

Then.... um.... yes?
What else do you want to know?

What is Kaisonic Productions? It's plastered everywhere that they make the videos and DVDs.
Kaisonic Productions is actually just me, Thomas DeBell. You can check out Kaisonic.net or go to the history page on this site for more.

Oh yeah! Wasn't all this stuff just on Kaisonic.net?
It was, I just figured it makes more sense to put it all on a KR-themed (and somewhat more mature) site so Kaisonic.net is free to be whatever else I need it to be.

Oh, I see. I agree with that decision.
Well thank you, self!

How do you make your videos and DVDs?
I used to capture footage with a Sony HDR-FX7, but I now use a Canon Vixia HF S200 and a Sony HXR-NX5U. I then use Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 (yay educational discount!) to edit the videos, Adobe Encore CS5 to author the DVDs, ImgBurn to burn the copies of the DVDs, and good-old-fashioned manual labor to label the discs and put inserts in the cases.

Whoa, you make all of your DVDs yourself? By hand? They look so professional, I thought you sent for them to be made somewhere!
Well thank you-- man, I should really stop complimenting myself on the internet. It's kinda sad.

Indeed it is. But anyway, when is *insert recent performance here* DVD going to be done?
Eventually.

You really like that word, don't you?
I think we're done here.
